Tesla is going to build the world’s largest lithium ion battery in Australia

Tesla will build the world’s largest lithium-ion battery in South Australia as part of a historic agreement between French renewable energy provider Neoen, the Government of South Australia and the company Elon Musk.

The partnership is the result of a bet made by Tesla’s founder and CEO, Musk in March, in which he said Tesla could offer a functioning battery power system to prevent faults within 100 days, or Which would be free.

This bet is stable and the start of 100 days will be marked once the network interconnection agreement has been signed.

Musk also revealed the life of the battery, according to the energy level considered the end of the battery life was approximately 15 years. Although the electronics can last 20 to 30 years.

“I see this as an example that the world will try to make large-scale applications of batteries that have a charge,” he said.
